I paint mainly landscapes in a loose impressionnistic style, capturing the fundamental drama or beauty of a scene through juxtaposition of shape and colour, enhanced by the texture and freedom of painting with a palette knife. My paintings are in oils and are inspired by my native Yorkshire, by my travels and my wildlife photography.
